Elephant

The elephant is often imbued with qualities like loyalty, chastity, and strength, seen as a feminine, maternal creature with strong family and social bonds—representing a collective, usually in a positive sense. Associated with stability, security, wisdom, and honor, elephants are said to "know" their history and lineage well, embodying both integrity and loyalty. Their natural adversary is the snake. In both Asia and Africa, elephants have been regarded as powerful, wise animals connected to deities and royalty, and in modern dream symbolism, they frequently represent the Self.
